Job summary

Systems Technology Forum seeks a Software Developer to join an agile team supporting the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS). The position requires on-site work in Dahlgren, VA, and involves full software lifecycle activities from concept to deployment and maintenance.

You will design, code, and integrate using Java, JavaFX, Guice, and C++, while following DevOps practices and using GitLab for source control. Collaboration and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Five years of software development experience required.
• Must work on site in Dahlgren, VA five days a week.
• Strong knowledge of Java, JavaFX, C++, and Linux required.
• Experience with Git and GitLab required.
• Familiar with DevOps principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and implement applications using Java, JavaFX, and Guice.
• Manage code with Git and GitLab, including merge requests.
• Contribute to CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines, run unit tests, and review SonarQube results.
• Perform static code analysis with SonarQube to ensure quality.
• Create and manage virtualized development environments with VMware.
• Handle artifacts with Artifactory and Nexus for deliveries.
• Use Gradle to build, test, and deploy applications.
• Participate in Agile development using JIRA and Confluence.
