Job summary

Twitch is seeking a software engineer to join the Memberships team within Commerce Engineering in San Francisco. You will design, build, and maintain systems that scale to millions of concurrent users, delivering interactive experiences for creators and viewers.

You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams, applying Python/Java/Go and AWS services to ship user-loved features while ensuring live-service reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent real-world experience.
• 1+ years of professional software development experience building scalable systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with focus on algorithms, data structures, and distributed system design.
• Excellent proficiency in Python, Java, Go and distributed system technologies.
• Familiarity with Twitch's tech stack: Golang, TypeScript/React.
• Experience with AWS technologies like ECS, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, and Step Functions.
• Experience with mobile development, either native or hybrid.
• Passion for gaming, streaming, or Twitch platform.
