Job summary

Twitch is seeking a software engineer to join the Memberships team within Commerce Engineering, building experiences for creators and viewers around Subscriptions, Gifting, and Turbo.

You will design, build, and maintain scalable systems for millions of concurrent users, collaborating with engineers, product managers and designers to deliver new products and improvements. The team is based in San Francisco and Seattle.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional software development experience focused on scalable systems.
• Proficient in Python, Java, Go and distributed system tech.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Create interactive experiences that are rewarding for both viewers and creators.
• Architect and build robust, scalable applications handling millions of concurrent users.
• Participate in Operational Excellence work to maintain live services.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and designers to build new products and solutions.
