Twitch’s Memberships team within the Commerce Engineering organization is seeking software engineers to design, build, and maintain systems that scale to millions of concurrent users. You will create interactive experiences for creators and viewers and help power subscriptions, gifting, and Turbo.

The team is based in San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA; 1+ years of experience with Python/Java/Go and distributed systems, plus AWS familiarity, are valued as you ship features that users love.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional software development experience building scalable systems.
• Proficient in Python, Java, or Go and distributed systems technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent real-world experience.

Responsibilities

• Create interactive experiences that are rewarding for both viewers and creators.
• Architect and build robust, scalable applications that can handle millions of concurrent users.
• Participate in Operational Excellence work to maintain and support our live services.
• Collaborate with fellow engineers, product managers and designers to build new products and solutions.
