Job summary

Fivetran in Novi Sad is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our SaaS Connectors team to build new features of our data pipeline service and to improve software architecture.

You will maintain reliable operation, write well-structured Java code, and participate in on-call duties while integrating with source systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience writing Java-based applications in production environment.
• Expertise with Cloud platforms and cloud-based APIs.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration.
• Experience in performance optimisations.
• Experience with reliable distributed systems and high-volume data management.

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our SaaS Connectors team to build challenging new features of our data pipeline service, to improve our software architecture, and to maintain reliable operation of the service. This is a full-time position based out of our Novi Sad office.

Требования:

• Strong coding, technical and problem-solving skills with 5+ years of professional experience writing Java based applications in production environment
• Expertise in working with popular Cloud platforms, Cloud-based APIs, databases
• Hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs
• Work well in a team
• Can troubleshoot problems with existing code
• Experience in performance optimisations
• Experience in reliable distributed systems, with an emphasis on high-volume data management platform that operate under strict SLAs
• Developing services communicating with 3rd party REST APIs
