Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field required.
• Experience with C/C++/C# and real-time software.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Visual Studio and/or Eclipse experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, develop, debug and test real-time software for simulated aircraft systems.
• Assist in developing detailed software specifications and provide time estimates.
• Model systems and perform scientific programming.
• Apply Collins Aerospace processes to product development to improve quality.
• Design, code, integrate, regression test, document software.
• Perform debugging using appropriate tools.
• Contribute to cross-functional integration and verification activities.
• Provide engineering estimates for own tasks.
• Contribute to requirements capture and design for well-defined software.
• Support and enhance existing software products.
