Job summary

Avancer Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer for an onsite role in Malvern, PA. The position is a 12+ month contract with responsibilities spanning backend development, cloud-native microservices, and REST APIs.

The candidate should bring extensive AWS expertise and strong software engineering experience. The ideal candidate will work on distributed systems, utilize serverless and containerized services, and contribute to scalable data solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java.
• Experience developing cloud-native microservices and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, and Step Functions.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
