As a Software Engineer Principal Sr within PNC’s C&IB organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH or Dallas, TX. or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.
You will be responsible for working directly with the scrum teams in a JAVA technology environment utilizing AGILE methodology. You will provide daily technical leadership in agile ceremonies, help to define and adhere to technical standards across the team, eliminate and prioritize technical team problems and roadblocks. This role will lead the team (with the help of Scrum Master and Product Owner) in estimating, planning, designing solutions and developing the application with the scrum team. This position is accountable for hands-on technical leadership and design activities directly related to new application or rewrite / enhance existing Client Facing Portal platforms for engaging needs of Corporate and Commercial customers initiatives across our C&IB Digital – Products & development.
You will participate in activities related to all Client Facing Portal modules and ancillary initiatives all directly tied to the client facing platform. We are seeking a broad skilled technical individual that is a solid team player that enjoys challenges, in a fast paced, highly visible and challenging environment. The proper candidate must have excellent communication skills, understand strategic thinking, use sound judgment and be able to deliver on committed deadlines/objectives.

•\tEnsures that expected application performance levels are achieved. Coordinates coding, testing, implementation and documentation of application solutions.

Pay Transparency
Base Salary: $80,000.00 – $185,150.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
