Job summary

ELEVI seeks an experienced Software Engineer to join our Annapolis Junction team. The role requires a current security clearance with poly, and 14+ years of SWE experience in programs of similar scope. A bachelor’s degree is required; additional years may substitute for the degree.

You will work with Jira for ticketing, demonstrate products to customers, and contribute to RAD efforts using PULSE/ABACUS. Proficiency in Java (21+), Docker, and Vue.js is expected, with daily monitoring tool

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college oruniversity is required. Five (5)+ years of additional Software Engineer experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• ELEVI requires an experienced developer to deliver a customer facing product to a widespread user base. Must have experience using Jira to create and monitor tickets. This role will have direct customer interaction, including product demonstrations, and daily scrum meetings to convey current status of progress. The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge PULSE / ABACUS, and an understanding of the current modernization efforts to include Report Authoring & Dissemination (RAD).

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to gather information and design/create/configure tools for monitoring.
• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements
• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results
• Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment
• Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
