Job summary

ELEVI in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in Java (21+), Docker, and Vue.js to deliver a customer-facing product to a wide user base. The role requires a current or active polygraph security clearance and extensive SWE experience in government contracting.

You will participate in daily scrums, demos, and close collaboration with customers to demonstrate progress.

Qualifications

• Fourteen years of SWE experience in programs of similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5)+ years of additional Software Engineer experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Must have experience using Jira to create and monitor tickets; direct customer interaction and daily scrum meetings to convey current status of progress.
• Active security clearance with poly is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements.
• Works individually or as part of a team; reviews and tests software components for adherence to design requirements.
• Provides input to software components of system design including trade-offs and reuse.
