Engineering at StackAdapt: As an Engineer, you will be directly involved in developing our advertising platform, producing production-level code that impacts our product's success. You will work with large data sets and modern tech stacks such as GoLang, Ruby on Rails, React, GraphQL, and more. About the Planning Team:

The Planning team focuses on building a data-driven planning experience that enables users to forecast campaigns accurately, ensuring alignment with actual outcomes. We enhance campaign planning with benchmarks and political districts targeting.

Our recent projects include integrating map visualization for geographic targeting with advanced mapping solutions. We are developing new vertical-specific features aligned with our strategic focus and integrating AI tools like Ivy to support our products. We are also expanding to support vertical strategies and automating sales workflows through key integrations to streamline planning processes.

StackAdapt is a Remote First company, open to candidates across North America.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Advise the team on pragmatic technical approaches that promote engineering excellence and developer happiness.
  • Develop coherent, iterative plans to deliver effective solutions on the planning surface.
  • Architect scalable web APIs, component libraries, and backend systems aligned with team goals.
  • Collaborate with Data Science, Product & Design, and senior engineers to solve impactful technical challenges.
  • Guide technical debt consolidation to meet business needs efficiently.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and system issues, providing actionable solutions.
  • Contribute significantly to critical projects that deliver value to customers.

What You’ll Bring To The Table:

  • 2+ years of experience building high-performance web applications with excellent UX.
  • Experience working closely with Product & Design to create impactful end-to-end product experiences.
  • Knowledge of full-stack technologies like React, Typescript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, and Go is highly preferred.
  • Experience with test-driven development using core full-stack technologies.
  • Experience with relational databases and key-value stores.
  • Ability to analyze, benchmark, and optimize web application performance.
  • Aptitude for simplifying complex problems.
  • Experience with large-scale Ruby on Rails projects.
  • Experience with visualization libraries for rendering large data sets.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience in the AdTech industry is a plus.
