You should be highly proficient in modern PHP and hands-on with major PHP frameworks—such as Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, Yii, or Zend/Laminas. Additionally, a foundational understanding of Python is required to collaborate across cross-functional services, microservices, or data-pipeline integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain backend APIs, web applications, and services using modern PHP design patterns and frameworks.
• Optimize application performance, refactor legacy codebases, and ensure high availability, security, and scalability.
• Work with Python scripts, services, or automation tools to support cross-system communication and backend integrations.

Required Qualifications

• Solid experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Git version control, object-oriented programming (OOP), and software design patterns.
• Must be eligible to successfully undergo a background investigation to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
