Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Software Engineer -- PEGA in Irving, TX.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Software Engineer -- PEGA will analyze, design, test, develop, and maintain best-in-class software experiences using PEGA PRPC and CDH; Write and test code within PEGA Developer portal; Create designs while adhering to architectural best practices and PEGA guardrails; Apply PEGA security concepts; implement and consume integration services like SOAP/Rest/JMS/File Listener/Jenkins and error handling in PEGA workflow; write complex SQL Queries, Store Procedures and Views using DB2, SQL Server and Oracle; Build PEGA frameworks like CRM, Customer service and PDFS; Define technical designs considering scalability, reliability, and performance of systems; Conduct code reviews ensuring production development follows compliance and security best practices; and Provide integration services that can be leveraged by various internal and external clients; and monitor performance of applications to ensure continuous uptime. Utilize knowledge from PEGA Senior System Architect (CSSA) version 8 or higher certification. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Multiple positions.

Basic Qualifications:

Requires at least a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering plus 5 years (60 months) of experience as a technology architect, technology specialist, software developer, or related.

Required Skills/Experience:

Requires at least a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering plus 5 years (60 months) of experience as a technology architect, technology specialist, software developer, or related. Must possess 5 years (60 months) of experience with each of the following skills: (a) PEGA design: building process flows, class structures, and integration architecture; (b) Designing and developing user interfaces; (c) Performing system analysis, developing and testing business applications; (d) Conducting code review and optimizing code including identifying bottlenecks; (e) Memory leaks, and caching; (f) Providing post-implementation application maintenance and support; and (g) Utilizing all of the following: working with the entire Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC); Agile Software Development; PEGA PRPC, IBM Web Sphere, Soap & Rest Web Services, HTML, CSS, Java, Java Script, Post Man, SoapUI, and Splunk. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $128,639 - $155,000.
