PackPay is seeking a Software Engineer to join at an early stage, partnering with the founder to transform MVP into a scalable product. You will shape architecture, infrastructure, and AI systems, owning critical engineering decisions as the company evolves.
You'll influence product direction, tackle uncertainty, and contribute to the engineering culture as we grow. The role combines product, technology, and customer discovery in a dynamic environment where the roadmap is still forming.
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join PackPay at the earliest stage of company building. We have an existing MVP, active customer validation, and a clear problem worth solving. You will partner directly with the founder to turn early traction into a scalable product and help build the technical foundation of the company from the ground up.
This role will own the transition from MVP to production-ready platform, making key decisions across architecture, infrastructure, AI systems, security, and engineering processes. Many of the technical decisions made in the next 12–24 months will originate with you.
As a software engineer, you will sit at the intersection of product, technology, and customer discovery. You will influence product direction and help determine not only what gets built, but why it gets built. You should be comfortable with uncertainty, motivated by ownership, and excited to build in an environment where the product, company, and roadmap are still taking shape.
Every year, growing consumer brands lose significant revenue to deductions, disputes, chargebacks, and reconciliation work that never gets resolved. Most finance teams simply do not have enough time or resources to chase every dollar. PackPay is building AI-powered workflows that help finance teams understand what happened, identify what action to take, and recover revenue that would otherwise be written off. Our goal is simple: help customers recover money they have already earned.
