Job summary

Corgi is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to build the systems that power our underwriting, claims, and policy admin teams, plus the customer-facing platform for policyholders. Based in San Francisco, you will ship to production in your first week and own features end to end from schema to deployment.

You’ll work across TypeScript, Python, React, and AWS, building internal tools to remove manual work and leveraging AI to move faster as our team scales.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering work experience.
• Experienced in TypeScript, Python, React, FastAPI, Django, Flask, AWS and beyond.
• Comfortable across the full stack rather than specialized into one end of it.
• Very fluent with AI development tooling.
• Built personal, startup, or professional projects.
• Experience in fintech, insurance and workflow automation is helpful but not required.

About the Role

We're hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to build the systems our operations run on.

Insurance is an operations problem. Quoting, underwriting, binding, claims, renewals, every one of those is still done by people moving data between systems by hand. Your job is to delete that work. You'll build the internal tooling our underwriting, claims, and policy admin teams live in, the customer-facing platform our policyholders log into, and the integrations that connect both to the rest of the market.

This role is based in our San Francisco office.
