Job summary

Smart Warehousing in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Software Developer to join a product team delivering scalable, multi-tenant cloud-based 3PL platform. You’ll rotate across SmartVisibility and SWIMS, owning features from day one.

You’ll work in an Agile environment, participate in code reviews, tests, on-call rotation, and collaborate with a senior engineering team to deliver reliable software.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on development experience (professional or internship).
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or a comparable modern language.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, control flow, and debugging.
• Experience with REST APIs and at least one database technology.
• Git/GitHub proficiency and clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently on scoped tasks and raise issues when needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications and back-end services.
• Participate in code reviews as author and reviewer.
• Ensure feature quality through unit, integration, and performance testing.
• Own solutions from development to production.
• Support products with on-call rotations that may include nights and weekends.
• Contribute to releases with testing and documentation.
• Work in an agile team with CI/CD and cross-team collaboration.
• Rotate across SmartVisibility and SWIMS for broader platform exposure.
