Job summary

Crate & Barrel seeks a Senior Software Engineer, Warehousing to design, develop, and deliver scalable software solutions for warehousing systems. You will manage Blue Yonder Cloud WMS and its microservices, resolving incidents and ensuring long-term stability.

You will own the integration layer between legacy AS400 and BY Cloud WMS, implement robust data transformations, and optimize message routing and API endpoints. Strong observability skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of professional software development experience.
5+ years of experience with Blue Yonder/JDA WMS environments.
Experience leading technical aspects of projects.
Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical expert for the Blue Yonder Cloud WMS.
Own production stability by resolving complex issues and ensuring system performance.
Develop and support microservices handling data transmission between AS400 and BY Cloud WMS.
Monitor, trace and troubleshoot high-volume message flows using observability tools.
Improve logging, telemetry, error-handling and database performance.
Collaborate on design to ensure code and APIs are support-ready.
Manage deployment and CI/CD across AWS/Azure/GCP with zero downtime.
Write well-tested, documented code aligning with long-term architecture.
Maintain cloud-based applications using native platform tools.
