Job summary

PRI Technology is seeking a software engineer to support development and maintenance of enterprise platforms used by field operations teams. You will build REST APIs with Node.js, leverage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, Harness and Kubernetes, and contribute to the Network Engineering platform for BAU, High Split and RDOF initiatives.

The role requires 4 years of REST API and Node.js experience with NoSQL databases, plus 3 years in Agile GIS development and 1 year in CI/CD tooling.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
4 years of experience building REST APIs using NodeJS and using MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases.
3 years of experience using Agile methodologies to ship code and developing enterprise GIS applications.
1 year of experience utilizing CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Harness and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Perform software engineering to support development and maintenance of enterprise platforms used by field operations teams.
Utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Harness and Kubernetes.
Develop and maintain the Network Engineering platform for BAU, High Split & RDOF initiatives; diagnose outages.
Build REST APIs using NodeJS in a business environment.
Provide effective technical solutions to meet project deadlines.
Mentor new developers and review code.
Collaborate with product and engineering leaders in Agile environment.
Build high quality code with unit testing and test-driven development.
Design data models and implement efficient queries for document-based databases (e.g., MongoDB).
Document and maintain software functionality.
