Job summary

NetJets is seeking a Software Engineer to drive innovation in software, data solutions, and operations support for the world’s leading private aviation company. You’ll own features from design through deployment, work with cross‑functional teams, and contribute to secure, scalable systems.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in CS or CE and 2–4 years of experience, with proficiency in Java, C/C++, JavaScript, and Python. AWS experience is a plus, and agile practices guide the workflow.

• Strong programming skills in Java, C/C++, JavaScript, and Python.
• Experience with cloud services like AWS is a plus.
• Experience in web/mobile development or software projects as part of education is preferred.

Purpose of Position

Tasks And Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, maintain, and support software applications, services, and systems, ensuring they deliver business value and are fully prepared for operational use.
• Ensure application resiliency, stability, security, and data protection by implementing robust engineering practices, proactive monitoring, and adherence to organizational and industry standards.
• Collaborate with the people on your team, in your functional area, and with your business stakeholders to ensure business value is achieved.
• Demonstrate leadership and accountability by taking ownership of commitments, delivering results with integrity, and ensuring outcomes meet agreed‑upon goals.
• Operate within an agile team to deliver outcomes iteratively while fostering empiricism, learning, and continuous improvement in delivery practices.

• Previous work experience as Software engineer with 2-4 years’ experience is preferred.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C/C++, Javascript, python is a must. Experience and knowledge of cloud services like AWS is a plus.
• Experience in web development, mobile development, or software engineering projects as part of educational curriculum is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies is a plus.
