Decos is seeking an experienced .NET developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise software. You will create robust RESTful APIs, integrate with external systems, and ensure code quality through testing and reviews.

You will work across the full development lifecycle, collaborate with analysts, QA, and architects, and contribute to modernization efforts, performance improvements, and secure coding practices. Proficiency in VB6 to .NET modernization is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-level software applications.
• Develop robust and scalable applications using .NET / .NET Core.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and Web APIs.
• Develop and maintain integrations between applications and external systems through APIs.
• Perform application debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and efficient code.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, architects, and other development teams.
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, development, deployment, and production support.
• Identify opportunities for application modernization, performance improvement, and technical enhancements.
• Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in C# / .NET / .NET Core.
• Experience developing REST APIs and Web APIs.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Strong database development experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
• Good knowledge of HTML5, JSON, HTTP methods, authentication, and error handling.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
• Familiarity with Git or other version-control systems.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and application deployment processes would be an advantage.

Good To Have Skills

• Experience in application modernization from VB6 to .NET.
• Understand, maintain, and enhance existing applications developed using VB6.
• Work with Elasticsearch for search, indexing, and data retrieval requirements
• Good knowledge of Blazor.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Database 19c for database design, queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
