Job summary

Getty Digital is seeking a software developer to join the Research Applications Development team. You will help design, build, and maintain apps presenting Getty's collections and scholarship.

The role involves implementing new features, supporting a broad portfolio, and collaborating with UX researchers, designers, and other developers. The position is a 3-year limited term, hybrid, with California residency required and onsite work at Getty’s Brentwood campus at least one day per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2-5 years software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Help design, build, and maintain an ecosystem of applications presenting detailed information about the Getty's collections and scholarship.
• Assist in the technical implementation of new features and applications.
• Participate in day-to-day software development and testing.
• Help maintain and upgrade existing applications.
• Perform code reviews and provide feedback to peer developers.
• Assist in writing documentation.
• Follow Getty policies and best practices for software development.
