Iron EagleX, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), seeks a Software Engineer-Mid to design and maintain data-driven backend systems supporting U.S. national security missions at Fort Bragg, NC.

You will develop backend services using Python or TypeScript, build APIs with Flask or FastAPI, and apply DevSecOps practices in AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. Requirements include 5+ years of software development, a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, and a current DoD

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of related software development experience.
• Current DoW TS/SCI Clearance is required.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain data-driven backend systems to provide secure, high-performance search and analytics capabilities.
• Develop backend services using Python or JavaScript/TypeScript; for Python, use Streamlit; React for JS/TS projects.
• Implement APIs and microservices using Python Flask or FastAPI; apply DevSecOps practices (CI/CD, IaC).
• Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) on CAI/PAI and other datasets.
• Work with Postgres databases via SQLAlchemy; leverage cloud (AWS) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
