Job summary

Iron EagleX seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to build, secure, and optimize a modern microservice platform. You will work across development and infrastructure to automate build, test, deployment, and operations, embedding security throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires 8+ years of related experience, a TS/SCI clearance eligibility, and onsite/hybrid work at Ft Bragg, NC. US citizenship is required for this government contract opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps or similar.
• Strong Linux experience.
• Experience with Docker and containerized development.
• Kubernetes deployment experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD or similar).
• Familiarity with Argo CD and GitOps workflows.
• Knowledge of security scanning and software supply chain security.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, security scanning, packaging, and deployment.
• Develop containerized development and deployment workflows using Docker.
• Deploy and operate applications in Kubernetes environments.
• Develop and maintain Helm charts for microservices and platform components.
• Implement GitOps deployment workflows using Argo CD.
• Automate infrastructure, deployments, and operational processes.
• Integrate security controls across the SDLC including vulnerability scanning.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve reliability, observability, and deployment readiness.
