Job summary

Memory Test is seeking software engineers at Teradyne in San Jose, CA to join a collaborative team that develops programs and libraries for new products. You will work across hardware and software to implement features, test thoroughly, and deliver robust solutions that meet customer requirements.

You will collaborate with senior engineers to design, test, and sustain software, engaging with Field Applications and QA to ensure customer success and high-quality releases.

Qualifications

  • Computer Science degree with 3-5+ years experience.
  • Strong C++ Object Oriented design experience with a history of consistent on time software delivery.
  • Mastery implementing software that directly interacts with hardware (FPGAs and ASICs)
  • Knowledge of Windows and experience with Visual Studio required
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio IDE's and the STL Library
  • Proficiency with a source code control system (GIT preferred)
  • Extensive experience interacting with hardware designers and reading schematics/design documentation and implementing software interacting directly with hardware
  • Software development for embedded systems, microcontrollers, and/or off-the-shelf small-form-factor devices (e.g. Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone, Ardunio).
  • Deep knowledge of Windows OS Internals
  • Proven track record of completing and delivering products directly to customers.

  • Work with the Software QA group to devise effective test strategies and identify areas to improve and resolve issues with our internal and customer-facing software releases.

Opportunity Overview

Memory Test is looking for software engineers to join an exciting, dynamic, hardworking, engaging, and collaborative team. As a candidate contributor, you will be involved in all aspects of software engineering and complex problem-solving, working with different functions to define, implement, and test new features and functionality. Nextest engineering teams are characterized by deep technical skills working with both software and hardware. Our Engineers thrive in a dynamic, customer-driven, global work environment where they succeed through innovation and collaboration. Internally, we work closely with the Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering, and QA groups. Externally, we work closely with both our Field support organization and our customers.

All About You

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is$142,600 - $228,200.This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
