Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, and implement digital solutions for Payer Operations. You will architect integration patterns bridging cloud-native SaaS, Epic EMR, and Enterprise Data Platform, while leading with technical guidance to product and business teams.

You will focus on optimizing Payer metadata, automating Payer lifecycle contracts, and measuring Payer performance, contributing to platform resilience and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with SQL and relational DBMS
• Dimensional data modeling and data warehousing experience
• Programming with SQL, Python for cloud/on-prem data warehousing
• Troubleshooting data issues; strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Architect and build end-to-end integration patterns across cloud-native SaaS and enterprise systems
• Conduct testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure reliability and scalability
• Act as a technical consultant toProduct and Business leads, refining requirements and designs
• Explore AI/ML tools to drive automation and smarter workflows
• Create design docs and diagrams for knowledge transfer and platform self-service
• Handle ambiguity and collaborate with stakeholders to translate vague requirements into solutions
