A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Software Engineer Manager.

Position Type: Direct hire.
Duration: 06-12 Months

As a Software Engineer Manager, you will:

• Lead software engineering developers focused on AI and Data Science creating containerized microservice software products.
• Act as a lead contributor for the Application Development team, focusing on training, hiring, solution development, software design standards, best practices, and architectures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Directly manage and coach a high-performing engineering team using agile methodologies.
• Support the interview process and staffing based on skillsets.
• Work with cloud-based full-stack application development.
• Use cutting-edge software to solve complex problems for company IR&D and Department of Defense projects.
• Manage resources within Engineering, including training and career development.
• Contribute to the technical design solutions for proposal of contracts.
• Interface with the customer to provide technical direction, documentation, and iterative demonstration of capabilities.
• Supervise and manage performance for direct reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in engineering, software, or computer science.
• Minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience or a master’s degree in engineering or computer science with 5 years of software engineering experience.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range: 172K/annum.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
