Job description

Anduril Industries is hiring a Software Engineer to support the Battlespace Awareness Command and Control Software team in Broomfield, CO. The role focuses on engineering support for core tools, and for candidates with an ML background, building new machine learning infrastructure for system-parameter optimization and CI performance-regression detection.

Role Scope

Work is centered on cutting-edge algorithms and intelligent software integrations, delivered through high-performance systems with mission-critical applications. The team operates in small, innovative groups and measures success by the real-world impact of deployed solutions across multi-target tracking, data fusion, battle management, autonomous robotic control, and mission planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide software engineering and development support for several of the team’s core tools
• For candidates with an ML background, help stand up new ML infrastructure that improves how the team optimizes system parameters
• For candidates with an ML background, help stand up new ML infrastructure that detects performance regressions in CI

Required Qualifications

• Professional experience in one or more of Python, Rust, C++, or C, with a clear track record of using these languages professionally
• Solid software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, functional programming, and REST API design
• Experience building low-latency or real-time software
• Experience with software testing, including Robot Framework testing and integration test development
• Comfort using AI coding assistants (Claude or Codex) as part of day-to-day workflow
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications
