Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Software Engineer at Levels 3–4 to support mission-critical software product lines in a security-focused environment. The role involves collaboration with a large team across subsystems and requires the ability to develop new capabilities aligned with SCI customer needs.

Candidates must have advanced OO design, C++ proficiency, and knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, plus SSBI eligibility and SCI access before start.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain several mission operational SW product lines
• Develop new capabilities as coordinated with their restricted SCI Customer
• Join a large team comprising of multiple subsystems, each with a specialized software focus
• Provide innovative solutions to complex issues in support of Customer’s national security mission

Requirements

• 5 years with Bachelors, 3 years with Masters, 1 year with PhD with an additional 4 years experience may be considered in lieu of degree for Software Engineer Level 3
• 8 years with Bachelors, 6 years with Masters, 4 years with PhD with an additional 4 years experience may be considered in lieu of degree for Software Engineer Level 4
• Active SSBI required at the time of application
• Ability to obtain SCI prior to start
• Advanced Object‑Oriented programming skills
• Proficiency with C++ programming
• Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system
