Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks a software engineer for Ground Segment applications. You will design, develop, document, refactor, test, and debug software, and support the program through milestones to achieve the mission.

The role requires C++ and Python expertise, RedHat Linux, experience with the software design lifecycle, Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket, and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI/CI poly.

Qualifications

• /must have 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 0 years with a Master’s degree; or an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• /must have an active Top Secret clearance at the time of application and the ability and willingness to obtain SCI and CI Poly.
• /Experience with C++ and Python.
• /Experience with RedHat Linux environment.
• /Experience with the software design lifecycle.
• /Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, etc.) and development using Agile methodologies.
