AV is seeking a Software Engineer (Level 2) to develop and enhance complex software systems that include real-time analytics and data manipulation. The role includes leading software development teams, coordinating installation, and ensuring quality through strict documentation and software processes.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 14 years of relevant experience in software engineering, along with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

The Software Engineer (Level 2) is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems, such as processing‑intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real‑time systems, and business management information systems. This role works individually or as part of a team to review and test software components, resolve software problem reports, and utilize appropriate software development and design methodologies. This role provides specific input to the software components of system design, including hardware/software trade‑offs, software reuse, and the use of Commercial Off‑the‑shelf (COTS) or Government Off‑the‑shelf (GOTS) in place of new development.
$210,000 - $250,000. The AV pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and does not guarantee compensation. Determination of official compensation relies on factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract‑specific affordability, organizational requirements, and alignment with market data.
This position requires access to information subject to compliance with the International Traffic Armaments Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
