Cintas Corporation in Mason, OH is seeking a Software Engineer-Level 1 for the IT Emerging Technology team. You will support smaller, moderately complex projects requiring a single area of technical expertise, focusing on application development, enhancement, maintenance and support.

The ideal candidate has a diploma and at least one year in IT; experience with frontend or backend technologies (React/Angular, GoLang/Python) and understanding of SDLC, REST APIs, and Git.

Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Software Engineer-Level 1 for the IT Emerging Technology team. This role is responsible for supporting smaller, moderately complex projects that require a single area of technical expertise; responsible for application development, enhancement, maintenance and support where most time is spent on support activities.

Skills/Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferred
• Minimum one year of experience in Information Technology

Preferred:

• Programming experience in frontend Technologies (such as React, Angular) or backend technologies (such as GoLang, Python)
• Basic understanding of software development methodologies and tools. (e.g., GIT, SDLC, REST APIs)
• Problem solving skills and attention to detail
