Job summary

CodeRoad is seeking a software engineer to join our Velocity Studios and modernize legacy Delphi applications while building full-stack web services with Python/Django or C#/.NET. You’ll work on Zoho integrations, REST APIs, and modern front-end tech like React, Vue, or Angular.

Fluent English is required, and the role offers 100% remote work for US-based clients with competitive USD pay and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of professional software development experience bridging legacy platforms and modern web applications.
• Experience with Delphi (Object Pascal), Zoho platforms, Python (Django) or C#/.NET, and modern front-end technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, React/Vue/Angular).
• Knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and advanced SQL (MS SQL Server) for data management and integration.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (Azure exposure or Zoho certifications).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, modernize, and optimize Delphi applications while modernizing legacy features into web architectures.
• Develop and automate low-code solutions with Zoho integrations and Deluge scripts.
• Build full-stack features and back-end services using Python/Django or C#/.NET with React/Vue/Angular.
• Design web integrations and APIs with Zoho Flow/Catalyst to sync data across systems.
• Write efficient SQL queries and maintain data integrity across MS SQL Server and internal platforms.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into well-tested, documented code with CI/CD and Git.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain & Modernize Legacy Platforms: Support, enhance, and optimize existing Delphi (Object Pascal) applications while actively participating in modernizing legacy features into next-generation web architectures.

• Develop & Automate Low-Code Solutions: Build and customize Zoho applications (CRM, Creator, Desk, Books, Analytics), writing Deluge scripts, workflows, custom functions, and blueprints to automate business processes.

• Build Full Stack Applications & Services: Engineer scalable full stack web features and back-end services using Python (Django) or C#/.NET alongside modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks ( React, Vue, or Angular ).

• Design Web Integrations & APIs: Implement RESTful APIs, webhooks, and integrations via Zoho Flow/Catalyst to sync data seamlessly across Delphi, Zoho, database engines, and third-party systems.

• Manage Data & Query Performance: Write efficient SQL queries and maintain data integrity across MS SQL Server and internal enterprise platforms.

• Collaborate & Deliver Quality Code: Partner directly with product teams and business users to translate requirements into well-tested, documented code while practicing CI/CD and Git version control.

What You Bring

• Core Experience: 2 to 4 years of professional software development experience bridging legacy platforms and modern web applications.

• Technical Stack Expertise: Hands‑on experience with Delphi (Object Pascal), Zoho platforms (Deluge scripting, custom workflows), Python (Django) or C#/.NET , and modern front-end tech ( JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, React/Vue/Angular ).

• Integrations & Databases: Solid knowledge of REST APIs , webhooks, JSON, and advanced SQL (MS SQL Server) for data management and integration.

• Modern Tooling & Cloud Exposure: Familiarity with Git , CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms ( Azure exposure or Zoho certifications are a plus).

• Growth & Ownership Mindset: Eager to expand full stack expertise under senior engineering mentorship, take ownership of production issues, and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.

• Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate directly with North American product managers and cross‑functional teams.
