Job summary

Jovian Concepts, LLC in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks Software Engineer Level 1 or 2 to help design, develop, test, and maintain Java and Angular applications for critical national security missions.

The role requires a current TS/SCI clearance with Maryland polygraph, a Bachelor's in CS or related field, and experience across RESTful APIs, Spring Boot, microservices, containers, and CI/CD. On-site with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline; candidates without Bachelor’s require additional 4 years of software engineering experience.
• For SWE Level 1: minimum seven years of software engineering experience on similar programs.
• For SWE Level 2: minimum fourteen years of software engineering experience on similar programs.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required; no CCAs accepted at this time.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements to design, develop, test, and maintain Java and Angular applications.
• Design, develop, and support RESTful APIs and data access components for relational databases.
• Support modernization initiatives including Spring Boot migrations, microservices, and containerization.
• Deploy and support containerized apps in Kubernetes across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Participate in reviews, troubleshooting, and CI/CD process improvements.
• Develop automated tests and maintain documentation with Confluence and Jira.
