Job summary

Leidos in Massachusetts is seeking a Junior-Level Software Engineer with full-stack capabilities to design, build, test and maintain scalable applications. You will contribute to front-end and back-end services, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires a BS in CS or related field, active Secret clearance, experience with React/Angular, cloud platforms, Docker/Kubernetes, Git, and Jira/Confluence. Excellent collaboration and problem-solving are expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related field, or prior relevant, equivalent experience in software development and up to 2 years of relevant experience
• Must hold an active Secret security clearance.
• Expertise in front end web application development in one or more programming languages is required.
• Knowledge of working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Agile project management software such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and system scalability.

• A working knowledge and experience with the following are preferred as they will be used to complete Software Engineering tasks: SAFe 6, EDB Postgres, an IDE such as Eclipse or IntelliJ, Git, Python, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Argo, Docker, Red Hat Linux, SQL Developer, Jira, Bitbucket, OpenShift, SmartBear ReadyAPI, SoapUI, LoadUi, Java, Spring, Maven/Gradle, ActiveVOS, Camel, NEIM XML, EBTS, SecDevOps.
