Job summary

Mindtel is seeking a skilled Java engineer to join its fast-scaling innovation hub focused on enterprise software and digital transformation. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based web applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs for global clients in fintech, logistics, and SaaS.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize performance, and drive best practices across the stack while integrating with AWS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Java 8 and Spring Boot.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and SQL-based data access.
• Strong version control with Git and unit testing with JUnit.
• Experience designing microservices architectures and Linux/Unix command-line tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based web applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with product and QA teams to translate business requirements into robust, testable, and production-ready features.
• Optimize application performance, conduct code reviews, and enforce engineering best practices across the stack.
• Integrate with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Debug, triage, and resolve production issues with minimal downtime and high ownership.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, documentation, and mentoring junior engineers.
