Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking an experienced software developer to write code and contribute to enterprise software applications. You will participate in requirements analysis, design, architecture, testing, and project management while collaborating with architects, designers, and product managers to meet ambitious timelines.

The role requires strong Java expertise (Core Java 11/17+), Spring Boot, RESTful API design, and experience with relational and non-relational databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience with proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, algorithms, and system architecture.
• Familiarity with modern software development tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Write code and contribute to software applications, modules, or components.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, architecture, system integration, testing, and project management.
• Test code to identify and fix bugs and ensure quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and product managers to align with goals and timelines.
• Experience with Java (Core Java 11/17+), Spring Boot, REST APIs, and databases.
• Work with React/Next.js and Material UI for front-end components.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and prompt engineering.
