Job summary

eNGINE is seeking a backend-leaning Java Developer to join a team building on a modern enterprise stack, including Java, Spring, REST APIs, Kafka, and microservices. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on real architecture problems and quality code.

You'll collaborate across data engineers, stakeholders, and project managers, write maintainable code, and help raise the team's bar through best practices and knowledge sharing, including local meetups.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring (Spring Boot preferred).
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with Kafka and microservices-based architecture.
• Ability to communicate well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Angular or frontend experience is a plus, but not required.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll be writing real code, solving real architecture problems, and working alongside a team that actually cares about doing things the right way, not just the fast way.

Angular experience is a nice bonus if you have it, but it's not a dealbreaker
