Voyager Technologies in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Principal Edge Software Architect to define the structural integrity of our software across product lines and drive long‑term strategy for heterogeneous computing. You will mentor engineers, transition prototypes into programs of record, and allocate workloads across CPUs, GPUs, and FPGAs.

As the Principal Edge Software Architect, you will define the structural integrity of our software across multiple product lines. You will ensure alignment with Open Architecture principles (such as SOSA/MOSA) and drive the long‑term strategy for heterogeneous computing. You will lead the transition of prototypes into programs of record, mentoring the engineering team and making high‑stakes technical decisions regarding the allocation of workloads across CPUs, GPUs, and FPGAs.
Salary Range: $127,236—$192,900 USD. Compensation may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 CFR Parts 120–130) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) (15 CFR Parts 730–774), applicants for this position must be a U.S. person: a U.S. Citizen, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. Applicants must be eligible to obtain any required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or the U.S. Department of Commerce. Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
