Formación

• Enrollment in accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work.
• DoD Secret security clearance preferred at time of hire; candidates must meet eligibility for access to classified information.
• Strong fundamentals in CS theory including data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity.
• Solid object-oriented programming and software design skills.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, or JavaScript/TypeScript using OO techniques.
• Knowledge of web services including HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Redux.
• Familiarity with DevOps tool chains including Docker, Kubernetes, Helm/Ansible/Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to apply technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to secure buy-in on concepts and ideas.
• Collaborative team player with leadership potential and commitment to professional development.
• Appreciation for user-centric design.
• Additional skills such as concurrent programming, memory and CPU profiling, data modeling, large-scale mission-critical apps, distributed systems, Kafka/RabbitMQ, UI manipulation, information visualization are beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in software requirements analysis, research, design, development, and testing of software and tools, including creating new products or enhancing existing applications.
• Apply standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the SDLC to support technical engineering products.
• Engage in and contribute to a technical culture by solving complex problems and delivering user-centered design.
• Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.
