Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Secret security clearance preferred at time of hire; must be eligible for access to classified information.
• Strong fundamentals in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and complexity.
• Solid object-oriented programming and software design skills.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, or JavaScript/TypeScript (OO).
• Knowledge of web services: HTML, CSS, JS/TS, React, Redux.
• Familiarity with DevOps toolchains: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm/Ansible/Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab.
• Experience with AWS and cloud services.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to apply technical standards and collaborate effectively.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork.
• Appreciation for user-centric design.
• Bonus: concurrent programming, profiling, distributed systems, Kafka/RabbitMQ.

Responsibilities

• Assist in requirements analysis, research, design, development, and testing of software and tools, including creating new products or enhancing existing applications.
• Apply standards, processes, procedures, and tools across the SDLC for technical engineering products.
• Engage in and contribute to a technical culture by solving complex problems and delivering user-centered design.
• Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.
