United States Digital Space LLC is offering a 13‑week paid Software Engineer Internship running late May through mid‑August across the U.S. You will design scalable APIs and backend services, work with cloud environments, and explore AI toolchains.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Engineering and experience with C# or Java, SQL Server, and Azure. Remote, hybrid, and onsite options are available to support your learning and growth.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or related field and will have completed at least your Sophomore year.
• Proficiency in C# (preferred) or Java with strong database skills (SQL/SQL Server).
• Solid understanding of API design, backend architectures, and Microsoft Azure.
• Practical experience with AI coding assistants or APIs (Cursor, Copilot, MCPs).
• Knowledge of event streaming technologies (Kafka) or messaging architectures is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop Backend Services: Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and pipelines using C# or Java.
• Database & Cloud Integration: Write SQL for SQL Server and support deployments on Azure.
• AI‑Integrated SDLC: Leverage AI tools for rapid prototyping and automated task execution.
• Learn & Collaborate: Work with senior engineers to apply best practices in microservices and messaging.
