Job summary

TechSmith is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to contribute to our image and video ecosystem. You will join an agile team, write code across several languages, and help ship features that support training and tutorials.

The internship emphasizes collaboration with designers and product managers, with a strong focus on testing and delivering quality software. The role is hybrid, 12–18 hours per week, and paid, lasting one semester.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Plan to enroll in summer or fall 2027 with 6 undergrad credits or 3 grad credits.
• Available to work 12–18 hours per week during internship.
• Open to multiple semesters.
• Experience with C++, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python or similar languages.
• Experience using AI tools in software projects.
• Experience collaborating on software projects in a team.
• Familiarity with git source control.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an agile team and contribute to software development.
• Code in multiple languages and review teammates' work.
• Estimate upcoming work and help plan sprint tasks.
• Collaborate with UX designers and product managers to solve customer needs.
• Test solutions to ensure quality and reliability.
