EffiGov is seeking a founding engineer to help build the EffiGov platform and team in San Francisco. You’ll ship features, design scalable architectures, implement cutting-edge tools, and mentor new engineers as the company grows.

You’ll balance scrappy delivery with elegant design, work hands-on with Python FastAPI, TypeScript Next.js, and cloud infra, and ship for early customers while shaping the technical roadmap and team culture.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience as an engineer shipping full stack solutions in a high-velocity team.

Responsibilities

• Ship features and design scalable architectures for the EffiGov platform.
• Mentor and lead new engineering hires as the team grows.
• Own CI/CD and cloud deployments to improve delivery velocity and reliability.
• Balance scrappy delivery with clean abstractions and thoughtful engineering.
