Job summary

The Advanced Manufacturing Company of America is seeking software engineering interns to build systems that digitize and organize millions of engineering drawings and documents. You will work on a custom suite to accelerate design, prototyping, and production across our factories and Protoshop.

You’ll tackle real production problems, collaborating with engineers and users to ship full-stack features and improve performance, reliability, and scalability of critical systems within ITAR constraints.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer or software engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field.
• Experience or familiarity with storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
• Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and document work clearly.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical teammates.

Responsibilities

• Build pipelines to ingest, digitize, label, and structure large volumes of technical drawings and engineering documents.
• Develop internal tools to speed up engineering and manufacturing workflows across facilities.
• Design and ship full-stack products and features.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to identify bottlenecks and turn them into software, then measure impact.
