Job summary

Shure offers a challenging summer internship program for undergraduates and graduates. The 12-week internship supports onsite and fully remote options in the US, with a housing stipend for onsite IL relocations.

The role focuses on developing cutting-edge software solutions with ML/AI use cases, in a hybrid setup based in Niles, IL. As an intern, you will collaborate with researchers to prototype software, stay current with AI/ML advances, and gain hands-on experience across DSP, embedded

Qualifications

Currently pursuing an advanced degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
Experience in C++ object-oriented programming.
Knowledge of Java/Kotlin, Python, or JavaScript.
Familiar with software development principles and design patterns.
Basic understanding of AI/ML, signal processing.
Experience with embedded software or mobile/cloud apps is a plus.
Hands-on with real-time DSP, embedded Linux, or DL deployment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with software engineers and researchers to design and develop software applications.
Implement, test, and optimize experimental software and prototypes.
Stay up-to-date with AI/ML trends to contribute fresh ideas.
