Job summary

McKinsey & Company invites undergraduates and master's students in CS to join a North America software engineering internship. You will work with senior engineers, designers, and technologists on real client solutions from day one, across full stack with close mentorship.

You’ll learn by contributing to robust, production-ready software, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and gain hands-on experience across AI-enabled systems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or master’s in a computer science related field.
• Foundational knowledge of software development with eagerness to work across full stack (frontend and backend).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, design patterns, and relational databases.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and CI/CD concepts.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and responsible AI outputs.
• Security-minded and able to learn testing frameworks such as Jest or PyTest.
