Job summary

Gordon Food Service, North America's largest family-owned broadline food service distributor, invites you to join our 12-week paid Software Engineer internship at the Home Office. You will gain hands-on experience and mentorship while contributing to meaningful projects.

You will work on Appian development, AI integration, testing, and maintenance, with exposure to communications, finance, HR, IT, and more, helping you build connections and a professional network across North America and Canada.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technology field.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

Appian development: Building and modifying business applications on the Appian platform.
AI integration: Exploring and implementing AI capabilities within tools and workflows to enhance application intelligence, automate tasks, and drive process optimization.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Test your code for accuracy and performance, and contribute to integrated system testing.
Support & Maintenance: Troubleshoot process failures and support the ongoing enhancement of existing Appian applications.
Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in team standups, sprint planning, code reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
