Job summary

Gordon Food Service, North America's largest family-owned broadline food service distributor, offers a 12-week paid internship in our Home Office. You will build a career in the Software Engineer department with hands-on projects in Appian development, AI integration, testing and QA, and ongoing support.

You'll collaborate in an Agile environment, participate in standups and demos, and gain real-world experience shaping enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS, IT or related technology field.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify Appian-based business applications.
• Explore and implement AI capabilities to enhance workflows.
• Test code for quality, performance, and reliability; contribute to system testing.
• Provide support and maintenance for existing Appian applications and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field
