TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC is seeking interns for a 12-week Summer 2027 program to work on the Ads platform in the U.S. You will help build and operate big data frameworks, design scalable services, and collaborate with internal and external partners to push engineering initiatives forward.

The internship offers hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to develop skills in high‑performing, trusted systems while gaining practical growth and learning in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Able to commit to a 12-week internship during Summer 2027.
• Experience in programming languages C, C++, Java or Golang.
• Effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.

• Design and optimize high-concurrency distributed systems to ensure stability during peak global traffic.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to drive large-scale engineering initiatives.
• Drive technical innovation by integrating new ideas and emerging technologies into the core platform.
• Enhance system efficiency and scalability to support the rapid growth of the global Ads ecosystem.

TikTok USDS Ads team focus on building and scaling the systems that power ads delivery, monetization, and user experience in the U.S. From improving ads performance and efficiency, to strengthening infrastructure reliability, to enabling global expansion, the team is focused on building a platform that is both high-performing and trusted in the U.S.

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. • Currently pursuing an Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Able to commit to a 12‑week internship during Summer 2027.
• Experience in programming, included but not limited to the following programming languages: C, C++, Java or Golang;
• Effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in AI coding is a plus.
• Strong learning ability, clear communication, and a strong sense of teamwork and responsibility.

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $45- $45.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
