Job summary

JM Family Enterprises, Inc. invites college students to join the Software Engineer Intern program for hands-on work in software development, data, and AI initiatives.

You will contribute to Power BI reporting, AI agent projects, and automation efforts while gaining exposure to JM Family’s culture and core values. The internship runs full‑time during the Summer Internship Program from May 24th, 2027 to July 30th, 2027, with flexible working arrangements based on business needs.

Qualifications

Job description

The JM Family College Internship Program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. As part of this program, you will actively contribute to your team’s success, learn about JM Family’s companies and culture while obtaining new skills through learning opportunities, networking events and much more.

The ideal candidate will be available to work full-time during the Summer Internship Program May 24th, 2027 - July 30th, 2027.

Interns will engage in meaningful work and gain insights into specific projects or tasks, providing hands‑on experience, and contributing to various department initiatives. They will learn about JM Family’s culture including our core values: Consideration, Cooperation, Communication, Innovation and Accountability. As a Software Engineer Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience supporting software development, data, and AI initiatives. Your contributions will help streamline processes and automate tedious tasks, supporting greater efficiency across the team.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will be actively enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or other degree‑seeking program at an accredited college or university, with a focus in a relevant field. Candidates in related fields will also be considered. Must have completed at least one semester of coursework.
• Preferred areas of study include Software Engineering or Computer Information Systems (CIS).
• Knowledge of or exposure to software development, data, and artificial intelligence concepts is preferred.
• Interest in applying technical skills to reporting, automation, and AI‑related projects.
• This is a full‑time position with flexible working arrangements depending on the business need.
